Story
"Every week, I sit in a room with people who have caused harm. At first, most of them are defensive — they don’t want to admit responsibility. But as the weeks go on, something shifts. In one recent group, a participant shared for the first time that his children had stopped being afraid of him. He said he was finally learning how to listen, to calm down, and to show respect in his home.
Moments like that remind me why this work matters. The Gateway Project isn’t easy — it requires honesty, accountability, and change. But when someone chooses to break the cycle of violence, entire families and communities become safer. Your support makes that transformation possible."
