Story
My Dad Jeff suffered a stroke which caused a bleed leaving the doctors unable to operate on the 18th August 2024. We were told Dad may not make it, however 5 weeks later Dad is still with us and determined to get home. We have a very long road to recovery to repair his speech and movement in his right arm & Leg and we have just received good news he is moving to a rehabilitation centre to continue his recovery. Without the support of the hospital, doctors, physios, OTs and the stroke association supporting with all the information we need we would not have come this far already.
To Say thank you and to help raise awareness and provide support to those affected by Stroke I am taking part in walking 60 miles (and hopefully more). Please feel free to donate as much as tou are able to.
