Riley was diagnosed with Persistent Junctional Reciprocating Tachycardia in utero and over the years he has spend a lot of time in the cardiology Ward 1E.

As a patient of the hospital they have always went above and beyond to ensure Riley has a comfortable stay whilst there. As Riley absolutely loves gaming the addition to the play team of a resident gamer has made a significant difference.

Riley wants to fundraise for this amazing cause as it would mean enhancing the gaming technology within the hospital which would benefit Riley and hundreds of other children during their stay in hospital which can be an extremely stressful experience at times.

We will be having a gaming fundraiser in which Ultimate Gaming Van has kindly donated their time and van in order for us to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause. We would be eternally grateful if you could donate towards Riley’s Gaming Fundraiser.

Today Riley was invited to take part in the Mario Kart augmented reality experience with Steven the resident gamer. Riley had quite an intense cardiology appointment and this was a great way for Riley to relax and have some fun after it! Thanks to Steven for providing this experience which is one of the many gaming opportunities delivered by the resident gamers at the hospital. The more money we raise the opportunities we have to provide the children with these experiences. 👏

Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity helps the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's biggest children's hospital.

More than 500 children from across the country are treated at the hospital every day. The 'Games for the Weans' campaign is raising funds to buy adapted gaming equipment, consoles and video games for the boys and girls at the children's hospital in Glasgow.

Fundraising will also support the hospital's Play Team - so that children in hospital always have someone to play with.
