Hello Friends & Family!

As many of you know, I have been a long term supporter of the YMCA across our country. As a little guy growing up in Philly, my beloved Mother enrolled me in Y programs and I’ll forever remember spending time after school and on the weekends playing basketball, swimming, and hanging with friends. The Y was an important element of my upbringing and helped me stay on a positive path.

Over the years, the Y has evolved significantly to now include a full range of programs across health and wellness, childcare, housing, food and financial insecurity, and career services. I was very fortunate to serve on the board of the YMCA of the North (Minneapolis/St Paul), and after moving to Scottsdale, I joined the board of the Valley Y here in Arizona. As expected, the board and leadership team are filled with deeply passionate, smart, engaging people who are committed to improving the quality of life for all here.

We have kicked off our annual fund raising campaign and I’m reaching out to win your support. Through this campaign, we are working to ensure a brighter future for the Valley of the Sun. Your support will help young people achieve their potential, empower community members of all ages to lead healthier lives, and strengthen the bonds of the families in our neighborhoods.
