I'm running the Bath Half 2025 for Anthony Nolan to help save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.

Every 14 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. For many of these people, a stem cell donation from a matching donor is their only chance of life. That's where Anthony Nolan comes in.

Anthony Nolan saves and improves the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders by:

- Making life saving connections between patients and incredible strangers, ready to donate their stem cells.

- Funding ground-breaking research that could transform the future for more patients.

- Providing the best experience for every patient before, during and after transplant.

My involvement with Anthony Nolan as volunteer for Marrow, the student network that works with the charity, has given me real insight into the vital work Anthony Nolan does, and first hand experience of just how much effort AN's staff and volunteers put in to helping save lives. It costs £40 to sign up one person to the stem cell register, meaning fundraising is crucial to supporting Anthony Nolan's lifesaving work. This will be the first half marathon I've ever run, but I thought it would be a great way for me to do my bit and raise funds for an amazing cause. I'm aiming to raise £600 to help fund 15 potentially lifesaving stem cell donor registrations.
