Ronald McDonald House gives families a place to stay when their child is receiving medical care away from home but it’s so much more than just a place to sleep. They provide meals, support, and a sense of comfort during incredibly difficult times, helping families stay close to their child when it matters most.

Motherhood has brought out an even greater significance for choosing this charity. When your whole world revolves around your child, you understand just how important it is to be by their side during the hardest of times. It’s made me more aware of how crucial places like Ronald McDonald House are, creating a space where families can find both practical support and comfort during something so unimaginable.

Running 21.1 km feels a little more meaningful this year, and I’m really grateful to be able to support such an amazing cause.
