Story
It’s that time of year again guys, here we go again!!!
Ollie and I are racing Hyrox in Jan 2026 on behalf of MacMillan, a charity that supports those in need and their families battling cancer, something super close to both our hearts.
Some of you may know, in 2020 at the ripe old age of 23 I was told I had a super rare kind of iris melanoma (tumorous cancer of the eye) which clapped me in the head (literally 😂)… but thanks to the amazing team at Sheffield eye hospital and all their hard work, the tumour is stable and I’m healthy and kicking - albeit with a bit less vision now mind 😂.
Ollie’s story is his Dad passed away when he was 18 years old from Sarcoma Cancer in 2018, then if that wasn’t enough his Step dad Kev got diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma November 2024. Cancer has hit right at the core of his family.
So willingly we’re signing up to suffer by doing what we do best because apparently we didn’t learn the first time 😅
But we’re doing it for an incredible cause, and every penny raised helps Macmillan support people going through cancer.
If you can donate, big or small, we’d be ridiculously grateful (and it might make all the burpees feel slightly more worth it 🥲).
Thank you - we appreciate you more than you know ❤️
