Both Ostomy Canada and the Ottawa ostomy support group have helped me to a productive fulfilling life after my Ostomy surgery. For over 50 Years The Ottawa Ostomy Support Group has been supporting people in the Ottawa area and Eastern Ontario. We are a volunteer, charitable organization dedicated to helping all persons, including families and caregivers, who have been affected by ostomy surgery. Our Mission is to provide practical support and encouragement to all Ostomates by operating a visitors help line, holding monthly meetings, publishing a monthly newsletter and operating a lending library of ostomy literature.
