Story
Pamela is excited to be taking on the Drop Zone challenge with an amazing group of coworkers from Nova Scotia Power. She works in operations on the line side of the business, and outside of work stays busy with her family. Her three daughters aged 18, 19, and 20 are all in university now so Pamela fills her time training and competing in agility with their Mini Australian Shepherd, and refereeing ringette around the Halifax area during the winter.
Pamela already has a deep connection with this cause so when her coworkers were signing up it was an easy yes for her.
Pamela's biggest inspiration is her sister, who lived with physical disabilities and sadly passed away in her late 30's. Although her sister faced more challenges and surgeries than most of us could imagine, she lived life with a smile! For over 25 years, Pamela's sister attended and worked at an accessible camp in Prince Edward Island. It quickly became one of her favorite activities to look forward to each year. That is why Pamela is raising funds for Easter Seals Nova Scotia, so more children and adults living with disabilities can access life changing programs like these!
