On 4th December 2023 Jim had a seizure out of the blue. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme which has a poor prognosis. Thanks to the excellent NHS care with surgery followed by radio and chemotherapy Jim has defied all the odds and is having the time of his life.
There has been no advance in the treatment of this devastating condition since 2012. We need to raise awareness and funding and aim for a cure.
