Tina’s Wish is an ovarian cancer non-profit dedicated to funding scientific research for the early detection of ovarian cancer. We were founded in 2008 in memory of the Honorable Tina Brozman, who died 2 years after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Currently, we have raised over $34 million.

Story

I’m running the 2026 New York City Marathon with Tina’s Wish – a great charity which is focused on funding research for the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer.

I’m running in memory of my Grandma, Agnes Beecher, who died from ovarian cancer when I was a teenager which was sadly diagnosed too late and underscores the need for the critical work which Tina’s Wish helps to fund.

While I’m no stranger to running marathons, every race is a huge challenge which takes months of dedication and preparation just to get to the start line.

I’m very proud to be contributing what I can to this important cause by raising money for Tina’s Wish during this marathon training block.
