Story

Thank you for taking a moment to visit my campaign page for the MACC Fund's Chicagoland Ringer. The Ringer is a 100 Holes-of-Golf Marathon which I will partake in on May 11th. While those who know me, know that I have a slight obsession with golf, 100 holes in one day toes the line of "too much golf" even by my standards.

The picture above is from 2024, the first year I participated in this wonderful event. If you're curious why my playing partner, Brad Reitzner, and I are pictured with bells, the name 'The Ringer' is symbolic of a child going through the unthinkable journey of battling cancer. Upon the completion of a successful childhood cancer or blood disorder treatment protocol, children are given the chance to physically 'RING THE BELL', a bell which hangs from the wall in cancer institutes across the country, to signify they have won their battle! With your support, we hope the number of children that have the opportunity to RING THE BELL is endless!

The MACC Fund is a 501c3 located in Milwaukee, WI whose mission is to find a CURE for childhood cancer and related blood disorders by providing funding for research. The MACC Fund is unique in the childhood cancer space, in that their sole purpose and focus is to fund research to find a CURE.

Your support of my participation WILL play a vital role in finding a cure, and saving kids' lives. In 1976 when the MACC Fund was founded, 20% of kids survived. Today, that survival number is nearly 85% thanks to generous donors like YOU!

Any donation, large or small, makes a huge impact on the lives of kids battling cancer and related blood disorders!
