2024 was amazing – 690 people came together and raised $156,000 to support patients and their families through The Last Mile. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this incredible event, and we’re setting our sights even higher: $200,000 to bring comfort, connection, and care to those who need it most.

As many of you know, we lost our mom, Donna Bourassa, this Spring. She was surrounded by family when she past. She was fortunate to have great support from family and Community members. But many traveling their last mile do not have the support we were able to provide her.

Last Mile gifts do so much more than raise funds – they ease travel costs for families going to appointments or visiting loved ones, provide therapeutic relief like massages to reduce pain, and even help fulfill wishes that create unforgettable memories during difficult times.
