The fight for civil rights is more important now than ever. The Washington Lawyers' Committee has been on the front lines of this fight for more than 50 years.

The Committee has been instrumental in protecting DC and its sovereignty and our immigrant neighbors. Additionally, they continue to protect the civil rights of the greater DMV region and nation. These include:

-disability rights

-education justice

-employment justice

-housing justice

-policing

-prisoner's rights.
