Story

50 Holes for HOPE

In honor of the MACC Fund’s 50th anniversary in 2026, I’m proud to be taking part in the “50 Hole Hike for HOPE” on May 27 at The Club at Lac La Belle. Along with a small group of participants, I’ll be playing 50 holes of golf in a single day on their brand new par three course, Uncle Henry’s Backyard, to raise critical funds in the fight against childhood cancer and related blood disorders.

The MACC Fund is close to my heart. Their mission - to fund research that gives kids battling cancer a fighting chance - is something I deeply believe in. That’s why I was excited when they were invited to be an official charity partner for The Club at Lac La Belle’s "Charity Week" celebrating the grand opening of Uncle Henry’s Backyard - a beautiful Craig Haltom/Jimmy Cavezza design and a fantastic cause brought together by two wonderful organizations.

As a storyteller in the golf space, I get to share beautiful courses and incredible experiences, but this day is about something far bigger than golf. It’s about HOPE. It’s about families. It’s about supporting life-saving research that changes outcomes for kids and their loved ones.

My goal is to raise $500, and every single dollar makes a difference. Whether you donate $5 or $50, your support directly helps fund critical research and brings hope to families who need it most.

Will you please consider donating?

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Together, we can turn 50 holes of golf into something truly meaningful.
