On 30th September 2022, I gave birth via elective C-section to our darling warrior baby Esmé Dale Byrne.

Esmé was born with a condition called Third Degree Atrioventricular block (complete heart block)

This has lead to her having a pacemaker fitted, and she will need pacing for the rest of her life.

Esmé is currently under the care of Evelina London, and they have been absolutely amazing. From the actual care she has received, to the personal level the doctors have gotten to know our family. Without their amazing care we wouldn't have our little girl with us today.

I am running The London Marathon in aid of this amazing charity, to help them continue the amazing care and support they offer to families like my own.
