My wonderful dear best friend Deb was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 53. Deb was in the prime of her life -a highly successful and respected lawyer but most importantly a much loved mother, aunty and dear friend . Glamorous , hilarious, kind and so generous, Deb had started a new chapter in her life and was having a ball when an inoperable and terminal diagnosis turned her world upside down. She was so brave and endured difficult treatment with courage , dignity and humour. She died less than 12 months from diagnosis and we miss her so much. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40. We believe that fighting brain tumours on all fronts of research, awareness and support is the only way to save lives, reduce long-term disabilities and to help everyone affected by a brain tumour. We need your help because a cure can't wait.
