As followers of Christ, Amy and I want to demonstrate to our family the importance of building God's kingdom in real and practical ways.  During Spring Break 2024, we have the opportunity to serve on mission as a family, helping youth and their families in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

During our time in Vieques, we will work alongside Beyond Relief, performing manual labor to get them closer to opening a youth camp to serve Vieques. We also will partner with Vieques Love, an organization that serves local communities in need, performing manual labor and distributing food and supplies.  We will have an opportunity to work with school aged children while we are in Vieques. Through all that we do, we will serve others and help them connect to Jesus.

This opportunity for service will prayerfully inspire our children to desire to follow God, live in service to others, and embrace gratitude for the blessings He has already entrusted to us. With the busyness of everyday life, our family is often spread out in multiple directions, with one or two going here, and the others going somewhere else. Our hope is to share this experience as a family, in a way that not only brings us closer to The Father, but closer to one another.
