Why Your Fundraising Matters
I’ve seen first-hand the devastating impact that spinal cord injuries can have—through my military career, my civilian work, and in my personal life. The reality is life-changing.
Imagine waking up one morning and realising you’ll never walk again. For thousands of people living with a spinal cord injury, this isn’t a nightmare—it’s their everyday life. Simple tasks we all take for granted—getting dressed, making a cup of tea, even hugging a loved one—can become overwhelming challenges.
This is why fundraising matters.
I will be cycling 305 km across 3 days, alongside around 40 other riders, including individuals who themselves live with spinal cord injuries. Their determination is a powerful reminder of why this cause is so important.
By supporting the Spinal Injuries Association, you’re helping provide life-changing services: expert clinical advice, advocacy, peer support, and campaigning for better care, access, and opportunities. In short, you’re helping people rebuild their independence and regain control of their lives.
Thank you for your support.
