The Rocky River and Bay High School Band programs have a long tradition of excellence in music AND service to our community. As we join together each year for a performance on the field, this year we are joining together to support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. On Friday, October 23rd, the students in the two bands are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items with them to the football game that night. We hope that those donations will be combined with online support from the football teams, cheerleaders, fans, and the communities to make an impact on families in need this upcoming holiday season.

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, together with our community, provides nutritious food and resources to help our neighbors facing hunger thrive. They do this through both food distribution and SNAP outreach efforts. The Food Bank operates a community food distribution center, providing food and other critical grocery products annually to more than 1,000 local food pantries, hot meal programs, shelters, mobile pantries, programs for the elderly, and other nonprofit agencies, serving over 404,000 neighbors annually.

Throughout Northeast Ohio, one in six people are food insecure – meaning they may not know where their next meal will come from. Your support will help alleviate this uncertainty.
