On the 13th September I will be completing a 12 mile walk in aid of Crisis with some of my colleagues from work. In the current environmental climate the work of Crisis to address homelessness and the issues it causes has never been more valuable. I know many of you will have seen rough sleepers, but that is just the tip of the iceburg - there are far more people who are homeless including those living in unconventional buildings, people 'sofa surfing', those using hostels and B&Bs as an example. In 2023 having a safe place to call home should not be too much to ask for and I am completing this walk to help Crisis with their funding, having also volunteered in other ways.
