I am honoured to take part in the Calgary North Star Boxing Saturday event on November 14, 2026, to support "Support for Moms and Babies Living in Poverty". This event reminds me that when a community comes together with purpose, generosity can become real help for families who need it most.\n\nRight now, many children and their caregivers are facing poverty that affects nearly every part of daily life: education, healthcare, housing, nutrition, sanitation, and clean water. For mothers and babies, the earliest days of life are often the most critical, and the need for compassionate support is urgent.\n\nThat is why I am raising funds for initiatives that help moms and babies survive and thrive through life-saving medical care, nutritious food, pre-natal support, and job skills training for mothers. These programs offer hope, dignity, and a stronger future for families living in poverty.\n\nThe target for this fundraiser is CAD 500, and every gift will help move us closer to that goal.
