In Memory of Yusuf Shukran Wafik.

Yusuf Shukran Wafik was the beloved son of Brother Wafik Khaldoon—a young man who pursued both science and language in his studies, earning a college degree as a Laboratory Technician before continuing his education in Linguistics at Carleton University. He tragically passed away in April 2025. May Allah grant him the highest level of Jannah and grant his family with sabr during this difficult time, InshAllah.

In his memory, a Sadaqah Jaariyah (ongoing charity) well is being established through IDRF to benefit a community in need in Asia or Africa. This campaign is a collective gesture of love and remembrance, and a source of ongoing reward for Yusuf, InshAllah.
