Story
I'm hosting a Little Garden Party for Kidney Research UK.
As many of you know I have Polycystic Kidney Disease and received a kidney transplant from my mum 16 years ago, which is amazing and she is about to celebrate her 83rd birthday! Sadly PKD is hereditary and I have passed the gene to both my children, with both requiring future treatment 🥲 There is no cure for this disease, which affects many many families and therefore as a family we support Kidney Research UK (and also The Oxford Transplant Centre) and pray their endless work can provide better options for future generations
Kidney Research UK have funded 61 years of innovative and creative research which has changed lives. But it’s not enough and the numbers of those suffering are increasing and we want to fund many more projects. Raising awareness and earlier detection will make kidney disease more manageable and significantly improve outcomes. Kidney disease is real for over 3 million people in the UK and together we will raise money to fund vital research and rally to change and improve the lives of kidney patients and your contribution will make an impact, whatever you can donate. Every little bit helps.
Thank you for your support. Kidney disease ends here.
