Hello! My name is Sam DiVita and I am a Camp Northern Lights camper and volunteer. I currently serve as Community Advisory Board Chair for camp. Family camp has had an incredible impact on my family! Spending time in the northwoods, supported by amazing staff and outstanding programming, has provided countless opportunities for new learning, personal growth, and a lifetime of family memories. It's also given the gift of a bunch of wonderful friendships - both through camping together over the course of many years and through a variety of volunteer opportunities. I have a lot to be grateful for when it comes to family camp.

I'm fortunate to have been a volunteer and camper at YMCA Camp Northern lights since it began in 2019. Watching our beautiful camp evolve each year has been a joy. Camp Northern Lights has maintained a strong focus on increasing access for all families. Every year, more families are served, more memories are made, and certainly more relationships develop and are sustained among families, staff, and volunteers.

At Northern Lights, we strive to remove barriers for individuals to attend camp, often supporting our campers with scholarships. However, we need your help!

This year, we have a goal of raising over $120,000 for our annual fund. These dollars directly support our scholarships and continue to support our scholarship program. Please consider giving a gift today so another family can experience the magic of community and joy in the woods.
