Hi! The Pinzl kids are excited to spend the summer at Camp Jorn where they'll have the chance to explore the outdoors, make new friends, and try amazing activities like canoeing, hiking, and campfires.

We’re raising funds that are directly applied to their camp fees, so they can have this unforgettable experience. Every donation, big or small, brings them closer to making this summer adventure a reality.

Our three children, ages four, six, and eight, have grown up making sacrifices well beyond their years. They have grown up embodying the values that Camp Jorn stands for: honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. They have learned honesty through open conversations about their father’s service and absences, caring through supporting one another during long separations, respect through adapting to new environments, schools, and communities, and responsibility by stepping up in age-appropriate ways during times of transition. They have endured eight-month deployments, training operations, and repeated separations as their dad has served in Japan, California, South Korea, Norway, and other distant locations.

This summer brings another season of change for our family. The kids and I are planning to spend the summer home in Wisconsin, all while cheering on a husband and dad we cherish. Attending camp while I work remotely and solo-parent means stability, joy, and a chance for them to be kids close to their Northern Wisconsin roots, our home!
