On 7th February 2025, I’ll be taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life — diving into the depths alongside sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium!

Blue Planet Aquarium has one of Europe’s largest collections of sharks, including Sand Tiger sharks, Guitar sharks and Black Tip sharks as well as Stingrays.

But this isn't just about an adrenaline rush. I’m diving to raise funds for the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), a charity dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries.

There are around 50,000 people living with a spinal cord injury (SCI) in the UK and approximately 2,500 people sustain or acquire a spinal cord injury each year.

I’m excited (and a bit nervous!), but knowing that every pound raised will go directly toward SIA's vital work gives me the motivation I need to take the plunge.
