Through good friends of mine, I've gotten to know and learn the great value Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois provides families when their child is receiving medical care locally. RMHCCI provides families a clean, safe, and comforting place to live, making sure all their needs are met. That means the parents energy and effort can be focused on their child's care and not having to worry about where to sleep or their next meal will come from, usually in a city they aren't familiar with.

Many think, incorrectly, that Ronald McDonald House Charities are funded directly from McDonalds Corporate. This is not the case and why local fundraising efforts like Wine Women & Shoes is so critical.

Families are never asked to pay when they stay at RMHCCI.

Many of you know that high fashion is not my thing, and neither is fund raising. Wine Women & Shoes, though, is a great event for a great cause. My fellow shoe guys and I thank you for donating and for making a difference in the lives of the families at RMHCCI.
