Canoe for Kids is the largest annual fundraiser supporting Christie Lake Kids' Summer Camp. Every year, low-income children and youth aged 9 - 17 have the opportunity to attend a session of summer camp at Christie Lake, at no cost.

Scout Clean Energy and Brookfield Renewable are proud to support youth in our local communities. Many of our employees live and work in the National Capital Region and have had the privilege to attend summer camps in our youth. It's great to be able to provide that opportunity to the next generation who might otherwise not get that chance.
