I am excited to join the DREAM TEAM and will be running the TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Garden of Dreams Foundation and its mission to bring life-changing opportunities to young people in need.

As a former Division I ice hockey player, I experienced the transformative power of sports both on and off the ice, which have made me who I am today. The Garden of Dreams Foundation provides these same opportunities for everyone to access life altering experiences, such as playing a sport.

Since retiring from hockey, transitioning from an athlete to corporate America has been challenging. The feeling of being an athlete and the impact of sport is hard to replicate. The honor and opportunity to join the DREAM TEAM and run the TCS New York City Marathon not only brings familiar comfort of competing, but more importantly, competing for something greater than myself.

Your support will not only help my dream of running the TCS New York City Marathon become a reality, but it will also provide access to educational and skills opportunities, mentoring programs, and memorable experiences that forever shape the futures of and create lasting joy for the young people in The Garden of Dreams Foundation.
