Climb for a Cause 2026

Solonie Pathania is raising money for Washington's National Park Fund

Team: Climb for a Cause: Mount Rainier (Tahoma)

Climb for a Cause is a fundraising program at Washington's National Park Funds that gives climbers a once in a lifetime opportunity to climb an iconic peak in one of Washington's national parks - all while giving back to these beautiful places!

Story

As I approach my 40th birthday in 2026, I wanted to mark this milestone by giving back to the places that have given me so much joy and peace throughout my life.

The mountains have always been my happy place. Nature gives us so much and asks nothing in return. Yet for all the years I've enjoyed these incredible wild spaces, I've never done anything meaningful to protect them—until now.

When I discovered Climb for a Cause and Washington's National Park Fund, it clicked. This was my opportunity to challenge myself by summiting Mount Rainier while supporting a cause deeply personal to me.

Every dollar you contribute matters. The funds we raise will directly support critical park projects in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks—ensuring these treasured landscapes remain vibrant for future generations to explore and cherish.

I'm asking for your support to help me reach my goal of $5,000. Together, we can give back to these national parks that give us so much. Let's ensure the mountains continue to be a happy place for everyone who seeks solace, adventure, and connection in nature.

Join me in this journey. Let's climb for a cause that matters. 🏔️
