Southampton Marrow Miles for Marrow 24-25

This year were doing Miles for Marrow differently! A competition between Southampton Uni Societies, with 2 leader boards of who can raise the most and run the most.
Each team are challenged to do sponsored runs, walks, cycles (or any other exercise) throughout April, to raise money and awareness for the lifesaving work Anthony Nolan does. This year we plan to travel a collective distance of 250 miles, representing the 25 years that Marrow has been running.
Southampton Marrow is a part of the network of lifesaving students who work with the blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan. There are over 50 Marrow groups, with hundreds of student volunteers (like us!) in universities across the country, who are all working towards one thing - saving the lives of people with blood cancer.
Every 14 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival. At Anthony Nolan, we match incredible people willing to donate their stem cells, to people with blood cancer who are in desperate need of a lifesaving transplant.
