Help us bring the power of gaming to Scotland's biggest children's hospital!

Story

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting this fundraising page. I am embarking on a challenge in 2025 to do both the Glasgow and Dundee Kiltwalks for the Games for the Weans campaign, by Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.

Games for the Weans is the fundraiser that helps young people play their favourite video games in the busiest children's hospital in Scotland. Because of that campaign, my job is now the hospital Gamer-in-Residence - meaning I get to visit the kids on the wards and game with them to just bring them a little bit of normality from their life outside the hospital.

I'll be walking a total of 43 miles for these youngsters and will be thinking of them every step of the way! Not only that, but I've dyed my hair purple for an indefinite period of time, which will be defined by the fundraising total but at least ten weeks. Every £100 raised = one week with a purple dome. I’m hopeful my new colourful look prompts a smile or two on the wards.

Feel free to also provide a song name in your donation to add to my walk playlist. Yes, even Sunshine on Leith.

Thank you 💜
