SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education) is a nonprofit organization that funds overnight summer camp and college scholarships, creating pathways to potential through Camp, Classroom, College, and Career for children and teens from under-resourced communities who are committed to staying in school.

I chose to support SCOPE because camp has always been such an important part of my life. I love the gift of camp—the friendships, the independence, and the feeling of having a second home every summer. At my camp, Point O’ Pines, one of the highlights is the owner’s signature ice cream. Jim's soft serve is the best and something I look forward to enjoying all year long!! To combine that joy with giving back, I decided to run an ice cream sale to raise money for SCOPE. My goal is to help other kids experience the same happiness, connection, and sense of belonging that camp has given me.
