Camp Taconic has been a long time supporter of SCOPE and its mission to help provide children from underserved communities with the gift of summer camp. Taconic was even the winner of the first ever SCOPE Philanthropic Camp of the Year award. Together, we are raising money as a part of GivingTuesday, an annual international day of charitable giving.

Taconic is proud to have members of our camp family involved in every level of SCOPE- from high school teens who are part of SCOPE's JLC (Junior Leadership Council), current and former staff who are members and leaders of SCOPE's Associate Board, and our very own owner-director, Jill Kleinman, who is the president of SCOPE's Board. Every member of our Taconic community knows just how impactful a summer at camp can be in transforming children's (and adults') lives, and we hope to be able to share that magic with as many children as possible.

Each summer, we empower our LITs to help raise awareness and money for SCOPE within our camp community during our annual Strides4SCOPE event, and we are excited to be able to keep up this important work during the winter as well. Giving back is an important value at Taconic, and we are lucky to be able to do it in support of such a great cause.
