Team Abbots Care takes on the Superhero Tri 2026

Abbots Care is raising money for Spinal Injuries Association

Taking on the SIA Superhero Tri 2026 — powered by Marvel — for the Spinal Injuries Association · 15 August 2026

Team SIA are on the Superhero Triathlon 2026, to help raise vital funds for people affected by spinal cord injury to live fulfilled lives.

Story

At Abbots Care, we're incredibly proud to have three of our own — Helen, Fola, and Ryan — lacing up to take on the Superhero Tri 2026 on 15 August 2026, the most inclusive and accessible sporting event in the UK.

We're racing as part of Team Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), and we couldn't think of a more fitting cause to support. As a home care provider, we see every day how a spinal cord injury can change someone's life in an instant — and how the right support, advice, and advocacy can make all the difference in helping people rebuild their independence afterwards.

Why Your Fundraising Matters

Imagine waking up one day and realising you'll never walk again. For thousands of people living with spinal cord injuries, this is their reality. Simple tasks we often take for granted — getting dressed, making a cup of tea, or even hugging a loved one — become monumental challenges.

By supporting Spinal Injuries Association, you're helping provide life-changing services, from expert advice and peer support to campaigning for better care and opportunities. You're giving people their independence back.

Supporting SIA isn't just about this one event for us — it reflects what Abbots Care stands for: helping people live independently and with dignity, whatever challenges they face.

Our team's goal is to raise £2,000 to help fund services that empower people living with spinal cord injuries.

If you can spare something, however small, it would mean a huge amount to Helen, Fola, and Ryan — and to the people SIA supports every day. Let's get behind them and make a real difference together!

Thank You
