Team MedBrief & Friends: Assemble!
The capes are optional. The questionable athletic ability is not.
Team MedBrief and friends are once again answering the call to action, assembling two teams of highly enthusiastic, moderately coordinated fundraisers to take on the Superhero Triathlon in support of the Spinal Injuries Association.
We'll be attempting to look heroic while swimming, cycling and running our way around the course. Success is not guaranteed. Entertainment almost certainly is.
The real superheroes, however, are all around us.
We're incredibly proud to be joined by visually impaired athletes Rob Rennell and Darren Harris, and to be taking part in an event that celebrates determination, resilience and the refusal to let disability define what's possible. The Superhero Triathlon is one of the most inclusive sporting events you'll ever see, bringing together people of all abilities to prove that barriers are there to be challenged.
Every pound raised helps the Spinal Injuries Association continue its vital work, supporting people with spinal cord injuries and their families to rebuild lives, regain independence and look to the future with confidence.
If our legs give up before our spirits do, we'll call that a victory.
If you'd like to support the cause, we'd be hugely grateful for your donation. Together we can help ensure that more people receive the support they need to write their own superhero story.
Why Your Fundraising Matters
Imagine waking up one day and realising you’ll never walk again. For thousands of people living with spinal cord injuries, this is their reality. Simple tasks we often take for granted—getting dressed, making a cup of tea, or even hugging a loved one—become monumental challenges.
By supporting Spinal Injuries Association, you’re helping us provide life-changing services, from expert advice and peer support to campaigning for better care and opportunities. You’re giving people their independence back.
Thank you
