Story
Hi everyone! Greetings from Singapore!
I'm so excited to be running the 2025 TCS London Marathon to help Save the Children create lasting change for children.
People close to me know of my two loves of my life; family and running. Looking at my life, I have been privileged and blessed to have a normal life. Not everyone is as blessed. Let alone innocent children who suffer in such an early stage of their lives.
My suffering from training for this marathon and potentially the suffering from running through it can never match the hardships and suffering of these young kids around the world.
So I seek your generosity in donating to this cause to help these kids in getting by their daily lives with dignity and strength. Give them that little of happiness they truly deserve in life.
The children featured in this photo are attending a 'Catch Up Club' at a refugee camp in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda.
Catch up Clubs were initially introduced in response to Uganda’s children experiencing the longest school closures in the world as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thanks to you supporting my fundraising challenge, Save the Children can help support children to stay safe, healthy and keep learning, whilst also tackling the root causes of inequality like unjust laws or practices.
Together, we can create real change that lasts a lifetime and a world where every child has a chance of the future they deserve.
Every contribution counts, no matter how big or small.
Thank you!
