Story
Every year our family spends one of the nights of Chanukah doing a project that supports an organization doing good work in the community.
This year, we’re excited about contributing to A Sense of Home (ASOH) - an organization that strives to prevent homelessness by creating first-ever homes for youth aging out of foster care. 50% of those struggling with homelessness are former foster youth. The homelessness crisis can only end through prevention.
We are raising $7,000 to fully furnish a home. Your support will enable us to transform empty rooms and bare walls into functional places of joy with donated furniture, kitchenware, linens and decor.

Our plan is to complete this project in March.
No other organization is exclusively dedicated to providing home necessities to help youth successfully achieve self-sufficiency. Recipients of ASOH have greater improved outcomes than their peers who have not received these services and 100% of ASOH recipients have maintained housing stability.
