Story

Hello, everyone,

I'm embarking on an extraordinary journey to Everest Base Camp. As I prepare to conquer Everest, I'm raising funds for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and their crucial work in environmental preservation.

Your support will:

- Preserve Precious Habitats: Contribute to safeguarding endangered species and ecosystems that provide us with essential resources.

- Fight Climate Change: Help WWF's efforts to reduce carbon emissions, transition to renewable energy, and mitigate climate impacts.

- Protect Wildlife: Support WWF's mission to conserve endangered species in their natural habitats.

- Empower Communities: Enable WWF to involve local communities in conservation efforts.

A century ago, our planet was home to around 100,000 tigers. However, by 2010, their numbers had plummeted to as few as 3,200, with only 121 remaining in Nepal. Remarkably, through the dedicated work of WWF in collaboration with the Nepali government and local communities, Nepal has more than doubled its wild tiger population to approximately 355. They've also expanded tiger habitat by transforming areas like the Khata Forest Conservation Area into a thriving 3,800-hectare wildlife corridor.

WWF's "Restoration Forth" project aims to reintroduce seagrass meadows in the Firth of Forth, enhancing biodiversity and combatting climate change. They've successfully sown around 25,000 seeds in trial sites and plan to restore 4 hectares of seagrass by 2024.Your contribution directly supports these projects and signifies your commitment to a sustainable future.
