Every day at UHN’s West Park, individuals are given the opportunity to recover from serious injuries or illnesses, regain their independence, and reclaim their lives. I am one of those individuals who have experienced this transformative journey. After losing my left foot to cancer, I found hope and support at West Park. With their guidance, I learned to navigate life with a prosthetic leg, rediscovering my passion for cooking—a dream I pursued in culinary school.

Without the specialized rehabilitation and complex care programs offered by West Park, my path to recovery would have been daunting. Their unwavering support allowed me to regain my mobility and return to the activities I love. Now, as a proud participant in the West Park Foundation's Culinary Showdown 2025 on November 1st, I am committed to giving back.
