Dr. Pisanic is an Associate Research Professor at Johns Hopkins University and a Tina’s Wish grantee. Tom credits Tina’s Wish for building the community that has solidified his passion for finding new solutions for the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer. 

Tom is walking this June in the Tina's Wish Runway for Research alongside brave ovarian cancer warriors, family members, researchers, and doctors to honor their stories and the fight against ovarian cancer. The goal of the event is to fund two Rising Star Grants, which support promising early career researchers in the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer field.
