There are so many reasons I love working for the YMCA. What makes me most proud, however, is that it is part of our mission to ensure our programs and services are available and accessible for ALL. Everyone - regardless of age, income, or background - has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

$50 provides materials for Youth Mental Health First Aid training to staff, parents, or caregivers.

$100 provides drowning prevention by funding a session of swimming lessons for 1 child.

$225 helps provide 2 children the opportunity to play a youth sport, exposing them to positive character traits such as teamwork and good sportsmanship.

$300 gives 2 children access to YMCA summer camp, designed to create friendships and learning opportunities in a safe environment.

$500 covers the cost of programming supplies for Teen Night, providing teens with a safe environment to connect with caring advisors for a variety of enrichment opportunities.

$650 allows one adult at risk of developing diabetes to participate in the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program.

$1,200 funds 1 session of multi-generational adaptive programming in our community garden, introducing gardening and healthy living choices.

$2,000 allows 20 cancer survivors to participate in LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA for 6 months.
