Mavrik was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in October 2024, just after his second birthday. We have been primarily living in Vancouver since then while he receives his cancer treatment. Mavrik has completed 7 rounds of chemotherapy, 2 bone marrow transplants and is about to start 12 radiation sessions. Following radiation, Mavrik will have 6 months of immunotherapy. None of these medications or services are currently offered in the north for Mavrik.

Mavrik’s siblings and cousins have gathered a team to raise funds for cancer treatment/services in the north. This hits home for us in the midst of Mavrik’s treatment. Mavrik is away from his sisters and cousins who he loves SO MUCH.
