When I was 9 years old, I almost became a casualty during a family vacation. We were swimming in a hotel pool with no lifeguard and I found myself in the deep end of the pool panicking and helpless. When I started yelling for help, everyone thought I was playing around. Luckily my Uncle took it seriously and pulled me out. As I was gasping for air I remember thinking that I would never let that happen to me again.

This is the reason I would like to raise funds to help children learn how to swim so that they don't have to worry if someone is going to believe them and save them.
