Nearly 10 years ago, I lost my sister, Kate Harris, to suicide. In honour of the life she spent focused on helping and supporting others while struggling with an illness that affects far too many, I will be taking part in the For the Love of Kate - Ride the Runway event at London International Airport this Friday, June 5.

My goal is to raise $500 in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services. To do so, I have decided to put on my dusty old roller blades and make as many loops around the 2km track as I can!

Mental Health affects us all. CMHA Thames Valley provides vital community-based supports and services to individuals living in London and the counties of Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford and South Huron.
