Story

Support the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Detroit and our work in our community of Wyandotte!

All gifts directly help our Wyandotte Conference serve those in need - offering hope, compassion, and real support to the poor, homeless, jobless, and others experiencing hardship in our community. We believe that caring for the poor is one of the most Christ-like acts we can do in this world. Support from our community is a powerful reflection of that calling, and we are truly grateful.

This year's Walk will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. on Belle Isle in Detroit. It’s a beautiful 5K through one of Michigan’s most scenic parks, with lunch provided by Matchan Nutrition Center and music from local legend DJ Stacey "Hotwaxx" Hale, a pioneer in Detroit's rich musical history.

Please make a donation today to support our work in the community. May God bless you abundantly for your kindness.
