2015 Boys International Football Academy club soccer team fundraising for UMass Memorial Health

Raising money for UMass Memorial Health

Fundraising for the UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center

Story

The International Football Academy (IFA) is proud to partner with UMass Children’s Hospital for a special fundraiser this season. Our soccer team of 10-year-old players wanted to do something meaningful for children facing long hospital stays, and we learned that one of the most requested, and most impactful items for these patients is Lego kits.

For many children, being hospitalized for days or weeks can be overwhelming, isolating, and scary. Lego kits provide more than just a distraction, they offer a creative outlet, a sense of control, and moments of calm during an incredibly challenging time. Building something with their own hands can help kids stay engaged, reduce stress, and bring a sense of normalcy and joy back into their day.

We also welcome ideas for your favorite Lego kits! If there’s a specific set you’d love your donation to support, please don’t hesitate to let us know so we can put it toward something meaningful to you.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to provide a steady supply of Lego kits for kids of all ages at UMass Children’s Hospital. Every donation, big or small, helps bring comfort, creativity, and brighter moments to children who truly need them.

Thank you for supporting our team as we work together—not just on the field, but for a cause that truly matters.

Sincerely,

IFA 2015 boys soccer club
