Story

Our 3 Angels

Suffolk County Community College "Shark Shuffle" Virtual 5K Walk/Run 2020

September 14 - 28, 2020

Many of you have heard the tragic story of our family recently losing our most beloved Aunt Zaida, Aunt Millie and Uncle Bill to COVID-19. They were wonderful people and always lent a hand in helping someone else. In the end, they were assisted by health professionals who risked their own lives to give them comfort.

While our family still grieves at this incredible loss, we looked for ways to honor their lives and service to others. That's why we formed this team to "virtually' and safely walk in their honor. The funds raised provide scholarship support to many of our students who are entering the health professions and who will be tomorrows caregivers.

So please join us for the first-ever virtual Shark Shuffle 5K! With Long Island's warmer weather here, this is a great opportunity to get outdoors safely and virtually connect with fellow Suffolk Sharks - remotely! You can also raise funds for student scholarships by asking your friends, neighbors, relatives and co-workers to sponsor you. Don't forget your masks and social distancing! :
