Event: Swimathon 2023, from 28 April 2023 to 13 May 2023
Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are calling on the nation to get down to the pool for Swimathon 2023 - thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.

Story

The team is made up of a few girls from Bloomsbury First Year at Bede's School in East Sussex. We are swimming 4 km between us in order to raise money for Cancer Research and Marie Curie.

Cancer Research is the world's largest charitable funder of research into cancer treatment. They conduct pioneering work into how to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer

Marie curie supports people with terminal illness. Marie Curie has almost 2,000 nurses working with them, but more than 9,400 people volunteer regularly for the charity.

We hope to complete this challenge on the 9th of May. Any donations are welcome. Thank you.
